Glasgow-Rose-thumbnail.jpgGlasgow Rose

The inspiration for this guitar came from appreciation of the work of Glasgow artist and architect - Charles Rennie MacKintosh. Some very special African Rosewood (dalbergia baroni) was sought for the back and sides and Master Grade Sitka Spruce for the soundboard. Friend and artist Don McNeish from the Isle of Arran was commissioned to design the headstock, fingerboard and rosette inlays. Abalone shell and Mother of Pearl are used for this intricate work. Beautifully crafted Waverley tuners adorn the headstock with ivoroid buttons.
This truly outstanding guitar was built to order as a limited edition of ten and the final guitar was completed in August 2015.
